Spikessss
I've noticed that with just about everything I have been wearing lately I have been throwing on my "SPIKE" statement necklace.Spike jewelery is one of my favorite accessories because it goes with just about anything and adds just the right amount of edge. If your not feeling the bold necklaces you can always op out for a small bracelet or even a ring. Like I said I pretty much wear mine with just about everything these days and its a great way to add drama to a simple tank.

Finally some time to get back to doing what I love. Summer is here and your fashion possibilities are endless. My current obsession would be anything maxi, maxi skirt, maxi dress you get it. When I bought my first maxi I thought there was no way I was actually going to wear it considering im A)short and B)have a large butt. OBVIOUSLY that changed, it just takes a little playing around with different accessories to figure out what best works for you. When wearing a dress I almost already belt it because it brings the eye to the tiniest part of your waste and keeps it from just hanging on you and looking baggy. If I don't belt it I'll usually throw a denim vest over cardigan on top to add some life to it. If im going for a skirt I always throw a bandeau on top and im good to go(OBSESSED WITH THIS LOOK). Now let me get this straight,I high waist my skirt and wear a longer bandeau which leaves the smallest and what I find sexiest amount of skin showing. If your nervous about it making you look bigger than you really are I would highly recommend throwing on a loose belt so at least it leaves a suttel outline of whats actually really under there! Remember maxis are meant to be easy so don't over think it. Give it try you might be surprised.

Glitz and Glamour
What other way to bring in the spring than with with glitter! I've noticed at every store I've been to that they have some form of glitter inspired shoes(ballet flat, loafters, heels, wedges). Yes you may be thinking aren’t I a little old for glitter but come on im not sure how they don't put a smile on your face. I personally love them because they add unexpected excitement to my white blazer and skinnies but you my friend can wear them however you like. Last I love them because they can be a DIY project to add life to your old flats. If you’re wanting to make your own just grab some fabric glue or tacky glue, a paint brush and whatever color glitter you want. The rest is common sense just paint on a heavy layer of glue, pile on the glitter and then shake off the excess glitter. TA DAH!!!

crop top!
CROP TOPS! For me I have a love/hate relationship with these because they are so simple, yet so easy to get wrong. Now don’t get me wrong they look absolutely cute for spring and summer as long as you have the outfit right. I don’t care if you’re a size double zero, if it just covers a little more than your boobs GET OUT OF HERE!! The perfect amount meets a little below your belly button which actually is sexy and leaves a little to the imagination. NOW what to wear them with; I personally love cropped tops with high wasted shorts or a flowy maxi skirt for more of a relaxed vibe. If you’re planning on going out I would pair it with a high wasted skirt or a great pair of skinnies and throw on some wedges. If yourself conscious about baring your entire belly that’s where the high wasted part comes in because it show the tiniest of skin. Just please whatever you do try it on before you leave the store and make sure it at least reaches your belly button to avoid looking trashy!

Fast foward spring 2012 must: Long tail skirts
Hello!!So I hope everyone has had an awesome start to their New Year, a New Year means new FASHION! Lately I couldn't help but notice these skirts sticking out to me everywhere I seemed to go. I can tell you already that long tail skirts will be a huge trend for spring/summer this year. At first when I saw them I was a little unsure about them because I'm not the tallest girl in the world but when I tried them on it was a total different story. They move so beautifully that they are almost impossible to fall in love with. Don't get wrong a girl like me will pair mine with some sort of wedged heel so my legs can look longer. Tall girls- you’re lucky and can wait these with cute flats or gladiator sandals in the summer-short girls I personally would try to pair the skirt with some sort of shoes or sandal with a heel it will help balance everything out. I have seen them in an array of different materials to I picked up a chiffon one with a tiny slip underneath but I have seen them in fabrics like jersey also! As I stated before these will end up being a must have this summer, so pick one up and try it out! As always have fun with it!

Winter Headbands
Being a student means walking across campus in the winter time which pretty much sucks. At least for me I’m doing a ton of walk outside in this crisp air and I swear by these headbands! Uhhh hello not only are they super cute but they actually serve as purpose and keep my ears warm I wouldn’t pass them up! Actually I’ll be honest they have become me obsession considering I have one in just about every color. For those of you who are not huge fans of the flower no need to worry they make plan ones also. If you look hard enough you can even find the fancy ones with the little button on the back that allows you to take it on and off without messing up your hair! For less than ten bucks you can keep your ears warm and look cute I say try it!

Gold Rushhhhh
In case you haven’t noticed yet but the winter "IT" nail polish must have is GOLD! Actually to be specific SPARKLY GOLD! It seems like the more glitter you can pile on your nail the better. Metallic nails have never been more popular. Now you would think that nail polish is an easy to do however ill just say this if your extremely fair skin try and pick a darker gold; for people lucky enough with olive skin pick whatever shade of gold you want! Before you leave the store with your new gold polish make sure it's not too opaque, if it is you may want to pick up a plain gold polish to layer underneath the sparkles! As always have fun with them how can anyone not like sparkles! Here's a few of my favs!
^My own nails im wearing Wet and Wild Gold Holiday Collection
